JULIA

HIGH END TELEVISION - HBO

Inspired by Julia Child's extraordinary life and her show The French Chef, which essentially invented food television.

DESCRIPTION

As the dailies colorist for the second season of Julia, I had a vital role in the production process. My main responsibilities included processing and grading the day's shoot overnight, ensuring smooth handover to the editing teams. I also created screener files for the production team's review, allowing them to assess the progress of the show.

While my involvement focused on the initial stages and not the final color grading, working on Julia provided me with valuable insights into the inner workings of a high-end television production. Collaborating with a talented crew was an eye-opening experience that expanded my understanding of the industry and its collaborative nature. Overall, it was a rewarding opportunity that contributed to my growth as a colorist.
